There is so much excitement and preparation for weddings that it is difficult to think about what might happen AFTER the planning is done. Well, if you’re wondering what to do with your wedding dress, aside from wearing it around the house all day (did anyone else see that episode of FRIENDS last night?), there are some feel-good, charitable options for all of you married women out there!
Brides Against Breast Cancer
Brides Against Breast Cancer contributes to programs for cancer patients and their families. Their outreach and educational efforts during their “Tour of Gowns” bridal shows around the country help ensure that people impacted by cancer have the resources and information they need in their battle with cancer.

Brides Across America
Brides Across America is a national charitable organization uniting military brides and bridal salons across the country for a common purpose by supporting our troops and their families.
Adorned in Grace
You can donate your dress to the resale shop Adorned in Grace, and they donate proceeds from the sale to fight human trafficking.
The Bridal Garden
Support Sheltering Arms Children’s service by donating your wedding dress to The Bridal Garden. Proceeds from donated dresses help children of need in the Bedford Stuyvesant area of New York City get access to better education and helps give families access to child care.
Have any of you donated your wedding dresses to support a charity that you believe in? We’d love to hear more ideas, please comment!
