We had another fit Friday in the Macey-Bank household! I got in an hour of Physique 57 this morning (ok, 57 minutes) and then went for a family hike up Moose Mountain with Matt & Tucker. The weather is deceiving because it looks like Spring yet feels like crisp, cold Fall so we both wore several layers and took them on & off throughout the hike. The one thing we both wore and loved was from Ibex (photos below). If you aren’t familiar with Ibex, get familiar! It’s a small clothing company right down the road from us in White River Junction, Vermont, that makes fabulous outdoor/exercise enthusiast clothes out of merino wool from New Zealand and made in the USA. My mom introduced me to the brand a few years ago and it’s all I wear in the Winter, Fall and Spring. They have a summer line too I just haven’t tried it yet.
A little bit about their clothing; it’s:
– Non-synthetic – Breathable (non-stinky!!!) – Hypoallergenic – Flame retardant
– Renewable – Natural – Supportive and Comfortable
– Not itchcy at all (it’s super, super soft!) – Temp Regulating
– Non odor producing – Durable – Organic
I run in it, do Physique on cold days, hike, and wear it for all layers during ski season (literally every layer – base top & pants, ski pants, jacket, gloves). Pretty good stuff right down the street!
Enjoy the weather this weekend!
I am wearing the Women’s Zephyr Zip T and Matt has on a Shak full-zip jacket.
